Mary Fletcher is a Pilates instructor with a friendly, modern, professional studio

in the Creative Quarter, Folkestone.

Mary teaches mat work classes, workshops and private lessons, integrating the

use of small equipment to challenge clients and enhance the Pilates technique in

a supportive and nurturing environment. Folkestone Pilates has provided

aftercare to Hospitals, Doctors, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Osteopaths.

Undergoing lengthy and rigorous training to qualify with Body Control Pilates

and working to a strict code of practice governing teaching standards and

professional ethics, Mary became Folkestone’s first permanently based Pilates

instructor in 2001, working with Body Control until 2017.

In 2008 Mary took up residence in the Creative Quarter in a light and airy studio

with full disabled facilities.

PILATES

Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, targeting deep postural muscles with slow controlled exercises

SESSIONS

Beginners to advanced mat work classes Maximum 12 per class All equipment provided Classes last for one hour and are normally run in six weekly sessions Sessions to be booked and paid for in advance A private lesson (which includes postural assessment) is required to join a session Tuesday 9.15 - 10.15 am 6.00 - 7.00 pm 7.15 - 8.15 pm Thursday 6.00 - 7.00 pm 7.15 - 8.15pm
Private Classes One to one personalised individual tuition  One to two where you can share a lesson  with a partner, family member or friend If private lessons are taken regularly a home exercise programme can be provided at no extra cost Private lessons also available for 3 to 12 people
